Winter is coming. Offseason is here. How are you going to spend it? Take this opportunity to play indoor ultimate and keep connected with the community. This is also a great opportunity to play with other players outside your club, clique and new friends. More than actively playing ultimate during winter, our goal is to make the community closer and bigger, bridging the gap of elite and recreational players. When was the last time you hung out outside your circle? Winter is lonely but it doesn’t have to be that way especially when you have a community like ultimate!
One of the goals of this league is to encourage women to play. The dream is to have an equal number of Male Matching and Female Matching players (FMP), but at the end of the day we will base the number of FMPs per team based on the total number of FMP registrations. Nonetheless the ABBA gender ratio rule will be enforced for all games.
Players should have or had experience competing at USAU or WFDF tournaments or with strong references from coaches or players. If you made the Full Payment for Competitive division and don't get drafted, you can still play in Recreational League or request for a refund.
• Spectators must remain outside of safety netting or upstairs in spectator lounge
• No food or beverages allowed in fieldhouse; water and sports drinks must be consumed outside of safety netting.
• Spectators should keep a distance from dugout/team bench area
• No muddy footwear
• No profanity, Intimidation or fighting
• No metal cleats allowed, rubber and plastic cleats only
• No spitting, sunflower seeds, gum or chewing tobacco allowed at any time.
• No glass or alcoholic beverages
• No animals allowed on any playing surface
• Do not climb on goals, netting or fences
• Do not touch curtain dividers
• Please clean up after yourself and your team
• Intentional Sports is not responsible for any lost or stolen items
• Failure to abide by facility rules risks permanent expulsion from Intentional Sports programs and facilities.
The teams in the Recreational division are Randomly Generated. The team generating algorithm takes into consideration the player information/experience given to us, and creates as even teams as possible.
$190 Guarantees you at least 8-10 games of Ultimate, depending on the number of total players. All games will be 7v7, 90 minutes duration, ABBA format, and with USAU rules. A Tournament Jersey, Free GPP Clinic and 2 League Parties also come along in the $190 package.
Our tournament (across divisions) plays out in a Round Robin fashion, followed by Quarter Finals, Consolation games and Championship Bracket.
A fee of $65 will confirm your spot for the draft process of Competitive division or will guarantee your place for the Recreational division.
For the players playing the Recreational division the remaining amount should be paid before the league starts. The players in the Competitive division need to pay the left over amount once the teams are finalized (post the drafting process), but before November 1st.
Once you fill the registration form, we will send you the link to pay.
1. Sub players may register at the same registration form as the Recreational and Competitive leagues. Simply select the new "Subs List" option.
2. Sub fee is $25 per night and should be paid BEFORE the game day. Signed waivers are also required from Intentional Sports.
3. No sub players will be allowed to participate in the semis or the finals of the Playoff Series.
4. The opposing team captain/team should be informed in the Captain's chat, of the sub player, to prepare for gender matching ratio possibilities.
5. Sub Players cannot play for multiple teams across the season.
6. Players in different divisions can play as a sub player in the other division. These players do not need to pay the sub fee, but all other rules apply.
We accept payment through Zelle, Venmo or Paypal. The link to pay will be sent out via. email post registration.
Once you complete the registration & initial payment for Competitive Division, we will reach out to you via. email and ask you to mandatorily fill a google form, in order to get information about you and help you get drafted easily.
Players from both Competitive & Recreational division will also need to sign a waiver and need to make an account on the Intentional Sports website. We will reach out to you with the google form and the waiver. The account on Intentional Sports will be needed to ID you and will allow you the access to the venue.
Once the league has started absolutely no refunds will be given, registrations are also not transferable.
Refunds can only be done when:
A.) You don’t get drafted and don’t want to play the Recreational division.
B.) Before the drafting or registration closes.
C.) If you are on the waitlist.
The chosen captains for each team draft players for their teams. Each team will have 13 players, 9 Males matching players and 4 Female matching players.
At the time of checkout from registration, players can apply whether they want to be considered to be the captains. The final decision is made by the tournament organizing team, based on the Information provided by the applicants.
All the Captains across the divisions will get 10% of their registration fee back and also get a Special gift bag from our side.

Once the rosters are finalized, we will start getting in touch with people who did not get drafted in the Competitive division, in order to process their refunds. ONLY the registration fee paid till that point will be refunded, no additional taxes will be refunded.
All the games will be played at Intentional Sports. At the venue you get access to showers, parking, gym, basketball court and cafeteria. The gym and basketball court have additional payment, you can either contact us or inquire Intentional Sports directly, about the drop in rates.
The Clinic is currently tentatively scheduled to take place on 25th January 2024.
